Years ago, there was a document that explicitly described how to setup email relaying on v5.4 by means of a custom template. Unfortunately, I cannot find it. In the process of migrating and upgrading yesterday to 6.5, I found myself at the end of the day with three branch offices that could no longer send email to clients by way of HQ's server, and instead, were receiving the dreaded rcpthosts error. No luck finding what I need on the forums or in the how-tos - so hopefully someone can answer this for me: I have all my template files located in /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/tcprules/tcp.smtp/; I've updated the files with the proper IP addresses, tried issuing the post-updgrade and reboot commands, but no luck. What commands do I need to issue to compile the template and proceed on with normal operations?
Also - when I tried adding a tcp.smtp file to /etc/, that file was immediately removed after a reboot, so I think that option is out.
Thanks for your help!!
