Hi


Stock Server SME 6.0 with Printer driver uploads enabled.
I'm having problems with Windows XP SP2

I can get it to join the domain OK

and I have enabled Uploading of printer drivers

anyway

Basically XP continually fails to connect and stay connected to Shares and printers,

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated


Oh yes another problem I'm having is with MS Access on any client cannot print.

Is the printer connected to the network, or are you attempting to share the printer from another computer?

Is everyone part of the same domain?

Have you set up the winXP username and passwords to be the same as the server User account and password?

In the server-manager, did you add the printer and specify an ip address?

The XP machines are part of a domain, they login fine, with the domain users and the admin, can browse shares OK, jusr fail periodiaclly to connect to printers and shares, with users losing data as as result

Did you install the updates ?
