I tried to load 6.5rc1 on to a new server I have for test and it didn't find a suit disk to load on to.  I assume the relevant drivers are not included in the standard build.

Is it possible to add them and if so is there any docs to help?  Drivers are available for RH9.

I'll take that as no then.  

It is a shame that I cannot load SME server as the Acer hardware is well put together and reasonably priced in the UK.

There are drivers for the hardware raid (Intel/LSI) for RH9 so it must possible integarte these into the kernel but I certainly don't have the experience to achieve it.

have you tried SME 7 alpha?

Should detect the hardware.

Thanks for the suggestion.  It seems to work well.  All I have to do now is wait for the stable version.
