Topic: Webserver not viewable internally on proxy?

I have a little problem where I cannot access the SME server by its public domain name when I am using the SME as the proxy server.  If i am using our router as the gateway I can access it just fine, but when using the proxy server it says its unable to determine an IP address for it.  But I can also ping the domain name when im using the SME as the gateway and it provides the correct IP address, so why will firefox or IE not read the IP address when behind the proxy?

NAT doesnt work if you are already behind the router.
Use local address, like the server name.
