Topic: problem adding additional network interface

hi,
i m using sme server v.6.0 with three lan interface
all are working properly.
eht0 is local ip address is 172.16.96.1
eth1 is external, ip address is 203.88.128.7
now i have addes third interface eth2 wiht ip 10.224.102.180 with netowk address 10.224.102.128 and
mask: 255.255.255.0, broadcast:10.224.102.191
but local network menu is not accepting ip address.
and i want to add eth2 network in my local network
so what can i do for it??

This has been asked and answered many times in the past, and the answer is always, "SME doesn't do that."  It is apparently VERY difficult to get SME to do this at all and it cannot be integrated into the server manager or the template system.  If you need this, try IPCop or another gateway/router distro that specifically supports it.

hi, i have got idea from sme faq but there is a post regarding to add interface on sme v.4,
third interface is working properly but i only need to add network address in local network,
if anybody knows pls tell me,so i can do it easily otherwise i have to spend more time to do it.
