Topic: Dont want to expose root or admin. Howto create a sftp user?

If you want to sftp something to your sme.
You don't want to expose admin or root wich are the only ones to sftp or ssh to the server.
You also want this specific user to only reach i.e the users bay and not traverse in directories.
How?  
I can't found out how, my fault of course.
