Topic: lan access from internet

I have a sme7 running SAIL/VMWare/Joomla/(Openvpn).
I need  to access my lan from the internet but I cant get it to work.
Earlier installs have worked perfectly with PPTP, but this one will only accept connections from LAN.
Tried installing OpenVPN (Swerts Knudsen), but I keep getting:
read UDPv4: Connection reset by peer (WSAECONNRESET) (code=10054)

What have I done (or not done) to deserve this
