HI All,

We've just put a couple of new asterisk rpms up onto contribs. These are the latest security patched asterisk and ZAP rpms and they will execute correctly with SAIL-2.1.13 for non-ISDN users.  You can get 'em from here

They are brand new so there may a few greenies in there that we didn't find in unit test.  You should be able to slap 'em straight over your existing rpms.  smeserver-asterisk-sounds remains unchanged.

The new zappri rpm is not helping me.

As I mentioned to you I had run the latest sme-testing updates on my server which includes a new kernel.

After a reconfiguration/reboot asterisk would not start complaining about not being able to find zaptel.

I have un-installed smeserver-asterisk and smeserver-asterisk-zappri and installed the latest versions.

It hasn't helped

[root@heathcliff ~]# modprobe zaptel
FATAL: Module zaptel not found.
[root@heathcliff ~]#

I don't have a zaptel card but I do need ztdummy loaded.

Hi Jon,

These are 7.0 only.  We'll recompile against the new kernel next week and create a version for the update.  Unfortunately, as you know, zaptel is very particular about which kernel it runs against.  We'll have to recompile the anabri release as well.
