No setting for publishing globally DNS
« on: July 24, 2006, 09:19:51 PM »
Hello.
I've just installed the SME 7.0 , and, while trying to configure the setting for my domain's DNS, it seems that cannot find the setting for publish globally the DNS , just like in the 6.x .
How can i fix this in 7.0 ?

"Publish globally" only had any meaning if you had purchased the ServiceLink set of services from Mitel networks.

You need to configure global DNS with whichever company or organisation publishes your global DNS. The hostnames panel only configures hostnames which are visible on the local network.
