Topic: email from external mail server

Hi,

we have a external mail server. we use fetchmail contrib to download mail from external server and distribute mails internally.

Now some of the users are travelling and use laptops. the laptop users get their mail directly from external server.

any pointers as to how to send the mails to external server when the user is not on the sme server. currently  the mail bounces  saying user not found.

Hi,

I think I have not asked my question clearly.

We have an external mail server for our domain abc.com. we have setup an sme7 server at our office. only some of the users are setup on the sme server at the office. travelling users are not setup on sme7 server as they download directly from external server. officeuser mails get downloaded using fetchmailcontrib.

mail from officeuser@abc.com to travellinguser@abc.com when using sme7 server as smtp server bounce.

can we redirect email to unknown users to external mailserver
