Will a yum update damage SME?
Do you have the SME updates-testing directory enabled? as the latest (then) was available.
A month or so ago many of us had problems with clamav updating. The above worked just fine to solve the problem and get rid of the error emails.
Same as above, if you rpm -qi clamav it will tell you the version please report if you can?
