Topic: can't send mail after install fetchmail contrib

Recently, I installed the Fetchmail contrib to automatically retrieve email from different mail accounts.  One day last week, I no longer can send mail.  I can't send mail with the native mail server on SME7.  I can't send with the ISP's smtp server.  My ISP is the Rogers network in Canada.  Does anyone know if it is the fetchmail contrib.  Or if the ISP is blocking my server.  Does anyone else have the same problem?

I would suspect your ISP is blocking port 25 (SMTP) to any mail server except their own.

I assume that when you say that you tried to send via your ISP's SMTP that you just changed the Outgoing Server settings in your mail client to your ISP.

This will not work if you still have the SMTP proxy enabled (Proxy Settings in Server Manager). Your ISP will still think you are trying to relay through them.

Go to Email Delivery settings in the Server manager and set up the delivery to be via your ISP (SmartHost)

Thanks for your help.  My ISP seems to be blocking port 25.  I'm pointing my mail client to the ISP's smtp server and it is working again.
