Virtual Subhosts receiveing email through subdomain
« on: February 06, 2002, 09:58:11 AM »
I have a couple of sub-hosted domans on my e-smith 4.1 server.  If mail is sent using the the subhosted url  exp kip@virtualsubhost.com  should I be able to recieve it?   If not, is there a way to configure this? If I have my users use my e-smith mail server for incoming and another server for out-going messages I would think that it would work.

Thank you in advance for your feedback! I love my e-smith server

I've just noticed that all the emails to sub hosted domains are going to the admin mailbox. But I can't figure out the reason for this?

Interesting document, but I have some questions about this special configuration:
1. What will be the FROM: line text when a user on domain2.com configure its
email client program?

Is this the only solution?Gage wrote:

IMP allows you to change the FROM: line to whatever you desire
