I would to Install Zoneminder on Sme 7.3.

is there a Howto?

I read sognenovski had issues with some of the admins here, for good reasons apparently, and decided that he will no longer make public the contributions he had done.
Too bad for us.

How am I supposed to send them to you when you don't tell me where to send them to ?

I have uploaded the zoneminder rpms to my contribs area here (wait a few hours for the mirrors to sync),

although I see with the recent updates for sme7.3, we are now running with kernel
uname -r
2.6.9-67.0.4.ELsmp

so I'm not sure whether an update for the kernel-module-bttv package is now required to suit the new kernel

Please also read this thread for useful info re using the dag repo to get other required dependency packages using yum, and other useful install info

Let us know how you go, or if you require any other packages that were in the sognenovski contrib area (now all removed !)

These packages ideally should be added to the smecontribs repo.
