Thanks all for your replies.  I found that we had an earlier version installed and after installing the latest version (as per the instructions in the Wiki) it is now working.

I can also confirm that the backup will fail if the drive is already mounted.  Perhaps as an improvement this behaviour could be changed so that it does not exit and fail if the drive is already mounted?

Please add New Feature Requests to the bugtracker against the contrib. This way it is most likely to be picked up by the contrib dev, as the dev will receive an automatic e-mail.
