I have tryed that but:
1) using latest kernel (2.6.26.xxxx) I did a manual reconfig of kernel options... and got everything till end to recompile and generates a new rpm for that kernel, but it take a longer time to boot and complains about iptables nat rule (do not exist) so it don´t have internet access.
It also do not solve my vt8231/vt1211 problem with lm_sensors.

2) using wiki Smeconfig.txt file to load on 2.6.21 (because wiki page is for .21-rc5!) I´m not sure it´s working because when I try to switch processor (I own a C3 Ezra, so I´d like to select CyrixIII/C3, I cannot find a Via C7 option as wiki page shows... my last option is "Via C3-2 (Neremiah)" and that scares me!
I don´t know if it´s working and would like to ear other people before to stress my little 933Mhz CPU server (via C3) to build a wrong kernel again.
I generated a diff -u from Smeconfig.txt to new .config kernel options generated after I just switch cpu to Via C3. It can be seen here:
https://mail.linuxfacil.net/diff.Kernel.txt (sorry HTTPS because I have dinamic IP!)
Thanks
