Topic: SME 7.3 & spam/mail filtering

I have a SME 7.3 with all updates.
It has two domains, domain1 & domain2

Mail coming to main domain1, I am told, does not come through.
Mail coming to virtual domain2 comes through.

Shouldn't the filtering be the same on both domains, main and virtual?

I only have spamassassin on, no RBLs activated.

That very likely has nothing to do with mail filtering (qpsmtpd logs will tell). My guess is that DNS is not configured correctly for domain1.

Checked both domains with mxtoolbox, both good, no blacklisting on either.

I suspect it is user error. I sent mail from every account I have to both domains and it came through. Every time I asked for the users to get the error messages from the persons trying to sent the mail, I never did. Checking the qsmtpd log shows no record of any email from the alleged sender.

Instead of going nuts, until I get a bounce/reject message from someone, I will assume user error. Mail does come in from both domains, but sometimes, someone will say so-and-so sent me a message and they never got it. I bet they're mis-spelling the email address...

Computers would work great if it weren't for the users!!!
