Topic: autoreply message for all email accounts

hello, I am trying to configure an autoreply message (vacation message) for all users. (our office will close for 1 day..)

Now i thought i had a nice idea: can I configure the user 'maillog' to have an vacation message?

 so that all mails sent to it will automatically receive the vacation message...

ok I'll reply to myself: it 'just works' !!

- installed smeserver-vacation with

Code: [Select]

yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-vacation
- went to the control panel
- found panel "user vacations"

- edited message for maillog user.
Attention, it says in the text above the message to put a white line between headers and message text. if you don't, all text goes into the subject..

- enabled the vacation message with "yes" under the message:

IT JUST WORKS!!
