dungog is a business so if you expect answers you need to be a paying customer
Please search before asking, an answer may already exist.

To expand on Mary's post, and specifically answer your questions:

"Are they still around?"
Yes, definitely - here is a bug tracker query showing the bugs they've touched that have had activity since 3/1/2010

"Any other way to contact them?"
If you have questions about any of their free contribs, post questions in the SME forums or bug tracker (the answer may or may not come from Dungog directly, but who cares)?

If you are interested in testing or purchasing their commercial products, you may need to purchase first and ask questions afterwards (I don't know).  My brother had a commercial subscription from Dungog years go - the software worked, and the company was great to work with.

If you are simply emailing technical questions about a dungog rpm to someone at dungog, then they either don't respond to such queries, or somehow your email is getting dumped in their junk mail folder.

Thanks for the replies.

No problem - yet. Only just downloaded the 7.4 ISO and not started installing yet. Have read and re-read this site many times over to glean as much info as we can before we start. The Dungog version sounds interesting and some of there packages sound like the way to go - we want to use them. I have emailed several times to ask to buy consulting time on the phone from them - so not trying to get info for free and i have been very clear to them we expect to pay for consulting time on the phone - i expect to have to send funds before phone call etc etc. Just no reply from them. Had not looked at anything they contributed in bugs etc to be honest - should have looked there. OK so they are there and going strong - great. Will keep trying.

Easter break may well have been it.

Maybe my mail is finding its way into the spam folder - you never know. Wish i had a phone number for them - be much easier. Anyway will keep trying.

I do appreciate the replies and since i have your attention i may just as k a few questions here anyway, but will start new threads on those issues.

Thanks again.

JD

'snoble' either is Dungog, or is at least pretty high up.

Welcome to SME; ask away!
