Take a look at MyDMS. Works great for me with e-smith 5.1.2.

Simply saw this phorum post and others that mentioned mydms recently so I decided to take a look and build an rpm for easy install, available here:

Please test and comment back to the phorum on your experiences.

Darrell;

Did you take the MyDMS rpm down?  It was there this morning but not there now.

Also, are you running it from an IBay or the Primary web?  I have not been able to upload a document to it running in an IBay.

Best regards;

Can anyonr please help with mydms on E-Smith 5.5.

I have installed it into an Ibay, and created and populated a mysql database.

When I try and access the DB from my browser by entering:

http://mydomain.com/mydms/index.php I get:

Could not connect to db-server "localhost"

I am fairly sure that all file permissiomns are OK - www.root on the mydms files in the Ibay, and user root created and owns the database.

Any ideas please?
