E-smith is only designed for managing one disk drive. To use a second disk drive, you need to format it with a file system, then mount it somewhere on the file system where it will be used. Any Linux sysadmin book or on-line guide will tell you how to do that.
There are no plans at present to add support for additional disk drives to the E-smith system.
