Topic: fetchmail stopped collecting mail

Hi,

All of a sudden fetchmail stopped collecting my mail. Running /etc/fetchmail manually still collects the mail, so I solved the problem by creating a cron job.

However, this is not the way it should be. Any suggestions where I should start looking?

a cron job is how it does work normally,
but is called by /etc/startmail

i disable cron and use set daemon 120 in /etc/fetchmail

# multi-drop configuration; fetchmail retrieves all mail from a remote POP mailbox:

set postmaster "postmaster"
set bouncemail
