What's wrong with SIS648 board???
« on: June 28, 2003, 03:43:25 AM »
Hi there.
Hope someone out there can help, is about to go mad!
Have bought ECS P4 Motherboard model L4S8A2 with SIS 648 chipset.

Onboard is SIS 900 Lan for external traffic, and a Surecom EP-320G-TX gigabit Ethernet adapter (PCI) for local traffic.

Use SME 6.0 beta2, and system detects both adapters and everything runs smoothly, except:

NOTHING WORKS!!!

When I write ifconfig in root, I only see stats for Io. Not for Eth0 and Eth1 as I do on my old server running v. 5.6.

Any ideas on solutions will be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Thomas
