Ftpwho problem

Hi all
I have a small problem with the ftpwho command, when I run it I get this
/var/proftpd: No such file or directory
(Perhaps you need to specify the scoreboard with path --path, or change the compile-time default directory?)
I been searching the forum but can't seem to find any answer to this...
I also search the internet an came up with this:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/archive/3/2002/04/3/18613
I can't seem to find proftpd-inetd anywhere or proftpd- .
I recently did this
http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=8077.msg30135#msg30135
Thanks
Martin
Btw: Had to type the error message in by hand, how to copy paste from SME to windows.. well guess that's another question

Hmm, i have the same problem with 5.6
any progress?
re the copying and pasting... use a client like Koala Term and you can copy and paste easily.
