cannot unlock email account

cannot unlock email account

Ive got some 60 email accounts, and one is locked.
The documentation says to change the password to unlock it,
but thats does not work.
It is the first name on the list and it is 'aba-do'.
does the '-' have anything to do with it ?
is there another way to unlock it ?
(it seems to get internal email, but externals coming in route to admin)

I created an account called aba-do and :

1. Sent myself internal and external emails ( OK )
2.Locked the account in server-manager , sent myself  an external email
(can't Login to email account)
3. Unlocked account by resetting password (OK )
4. Logged in and received previous external email.
5.Sent myself internal and external emails  again ( OK )

It works on my server. I suggest comparing the other email settings for that user account
to those of the ones that are working like is your mail being delivered locally or being forwarded to admin?

hmmm...
so i deleted the account and recreated it -
its actual name is 'ada-re'.

When i try to 'reset password' to make it operational I get an
error message 'Operation status report,  The account name "" contains invalid characters.'.

Ive double checked the fields for this and they are ALL filled in
with 'deliver locally'....

Any idea would be greatly appreciated.
