For people not paying for a product, but still expecting something that is still going through a transitional period is pretty lame. Red Hat discontinued their product because of people like this. Red Hat had a decent product & provided it and updates for free. There were several companies that were using this free product and making their own changes to it and calling it something else (Clarkconnect, IPCop, SME, etc...). I dont blame Red Hat for putting their product aside for enterprise software, where they can get paid might I add. As for the change over from Mitel to contribs.org, that was pretty nice of them. They could have pulled everthing and told everyone to take a flying leap, but they didn't and I respect them for that. There are a lot of things that are going on in the background and it will be sometime before everything is smoothed out and running up to speed. People want this and that, but the contribs.org group is trying to do what it thinks is best for eveyone. SME was handed to them and they are doing their best to make available to everyone. Everyone just needs to be patient. Older versions are running just fine and will continue to. Instead of complaining about the problems, how about trying to help with a solution. Get involved, try to learn about the software. Report bugs, but try to find the answer to the problem as well. Don't just sit behind the screen and wait for someone else to fix it. If everyone did this, things could get fixed faster and this software would be a better product.
Just my two cents.
If I offended anyone, too bad. This is how it is and they can live with it or get something else.
