I am now backing up to an 1TB drive. I wanted to check that these backups include the Backuppc backups as well.

if you are using SME standard backup, no, backuppc's backups are not included

p.s. you should be more "verbose" in your posts if you are trying to get help.. "I am now backing up to an 1TB drive" is a bit vague..
